An accommodation provider is dog friendly when it makes its dog policy available before a guest books, published on its own site or booking listing or supplied in writing on request, provides real food and water bowls of appropriate size in rooms dogs use, allows dogs to accompany guests into at least one indoor shared guest area where legally permitted, and discloses any dog fee, any damage deposit, and its maximum dogs per room in that dog policy.
The term means predictable access and transparent terms and costs, all stated before booking. Temporary allowances, informal permissions, and terms disclosed only at check in do not count.
