Any claim a provider makes about a property in relation to the standard without Roch Dog authorisation. Not permitted: only Roch Dog places a property in relation to the standard.

Definition

Any claim a provider makes about a property in relation to the standard without Roch Dog authorisation. Not permitted: only Roch Dog places a property in relation to the standard.

Part of the Roch Dog Residence Standard (RDRS-01) · Published by Roch Dog

A claim a provider makes about its own residence in relation to the standard, without Roch Dog authorisation.

Self-declaration is not permitted. Reading the standard confers no right to claim any association with it, and there is no self-declared tier. A provider may not state or imply that a property is built to, designed to, aligned with, following, or operating to the standard, and may not describe it as certified or display the mark, without a current Roch Dog authorisation.

Until a property is authorised by Roch Dog, the provider may state only facts about its own dog policy, with no reference to the standard, its name, or its marks.

Roch Interpretation

A provider cannot place its own property in relation to the standard. Only Roch Dog can, by certification or licence. Any claim of conformity, alignment, or certification made without Roch Dog authorisation is a self-declaration and is not permitted.
